Experienced And Loving Pet Sitter
Berlin
Über Julia
Hey people and pets,
I'm 38 and an illustrator/ graphic designer from Berlin who has a big heart for nature and animals!
I would like to combine my love for animals, my free time and need for being outside - so I decided to take care of your pets!
Unfortunately I can't have pets of my own atm and I really miss their companionship. I used to live in Spain where my family adopted a dog - we called her Yuma - so I have experience with dogs and know how they should be treated, how they might react to all kinds of situations, what they shouldn't eat, etc. Of course, every dog is different and I'm happy to find out all there is to know about YOUR dog. When I was little, we also owned a cat for over 13 years in our house in Germany. She was very sweet and I basicly grew up with her. In that sense I have experience with dogs/ cats and feel connected to them.
I took care of friends' dogs and cats several times, giving them food, going for walks, staying with them for a few days... just giving them all the love and attention they needed.
About my flat: It is quiet big, has 3 rooms, a kitchen and a balcony where your dog will have enough room to be active or just to relax or sleep. We are a small family (dad, mum, 4 year old kid). We don't have a garden BUT a nice green area behind our flat where we can have nice walks and also there is Weißensee, just 10 mins away. As a part time freelancer I work from home sometimes and might be flexible with my time and spend time with your dog as much as needed, play with him/ her, go outside for up to 1 hour few times a day, give food, etc. We would be happy to take your dog over night and if you go on holiday and are looking for a reliable dog sitter, we are also here to help you out! Your dog can decide where he/ she wants to sleep :)
You should know that I have a 4 year old girl at home who is quiet gentle with all animals. She is at the Kita during the day so I would go for walks alone with your dog/ make home visits alone. If you need your pet to stay at our flat for the day/ night, we would just need to discuss if kid and dog would get along. ;) I would only take care of one dog at a time.
In general, you can let me know how long you would want me to do the home visits, walks. I'm happy to adjust to your needs!
I look forward to meeting you and your pet! And btw, I also speak German, Spanish and Russian!
