I'm Matthew and I'm really happy you're here. I'm going to take great care of your pet. You'll see how happy they are when you come to pick them up!

I'm 29 and work online from home, which means I have a lot of time for walks and play. I grew up with dogs in South Africa and I've always loved animals. I had to leave my dogs with my parents when I moved, but I still love taking care of pets.

Here's what you need to know:

1) I can only take care of dogs that are house-trained.

2) Please tell me if your dog has any special behaviors.

3) You'll need to drop off and pick up your pet, but we can talk about other options.

About me:

I've taken care of all kinds of dogs, from active ones to chill ones. I've always loved animals and have taken care of my friends' pets and house-sat for people with pets in Berlin. 

I believe in using the right tone and touch when dealing with animals. I'm excited to welcome your pet into my home and make them feel safe and loved.

Your pet won't be alone for more than an hour when they're with me. I'll always be with dogs that are nervous. If your dog is relaxed, they might have some alone time while I'm working out or playing squash.

I'll take your dog for 2-3 walks a day, each at least 30 minutes long. I love being outside and often make these walks longer. I'll choose the best times for walks based on what I know about animal behavior.

I'll take your dog with me wherever I go. I like to walk instead of taking the train, so your dog will get a lot of outdoor time. If the weather is good, we might even go for walks that last up to 2.5 hours.

For dogs that have a lot of energy, we can go to the park, cycle, and play games.

I live in a two-room apartment with some plants that are out of reach of pets. There's a big grassy area outside for playtime and a park just a ten-minute walk away.

Please bring your pet's bedding, bowls, leash, food, poop bags/litter box, and any other items they like.

You can trust that your pet will be loved, cared for, fed, and kept busy. I'm okay with dogs of any size and confidence level, and I can give medication if needed.
