About me
My name is Astrid, I'm 28 years old, I grew up
in Italy, and when I was four years old, my family and I moved to the countryside to realize the dream to own a farm. since then I've always been surrendered by animals. In this context I developed my interest for the nature and the field of veterinary medicine.
Since I can remember, I followed my father in his practice, as he's also a vet!

My interests
Right now I'm veterinary student too, deeply interested in Animal Behavior and all the emotions that we share with our pet friends.
 
My formation and experience
During my practice in university I learned how to recognize signs of distress, how to communicate and interact correctly with many different species and the fundamental principles of animal welfare.
Over the course of my university studies, I had the opportunity to learn how to take care of dogs in shelters, thus enriching my skills in approaching different temperaments and knowing how to handle them. 

My everyday life
At the moment I study for my university exams while spending time here, in Aachen, with my partner, with whom I share an apartment close to the nature.
I can adapt my hours of studying to your pet's rhythms.
I don't own a car, I only move myself by public transportation or by walk.

What I offer
I would love to take care of your pet during the busier moments of your day.
I would be happy to visit your pet for a playful afternoon, to go for a walk in the nature.
I'm also happy to give special attentions to those who need: if your pet is undergoing some form of therapy, I can take care of the administration of it.

My motivation and ambition
Spending time with animals fills my life with joy and I hope I can make my knowledge and passion useful to anyone in need.
