Gacek (means bat in Polish)

Gacek is the youngest of the pack.

My husband found him on the road when he was trotting awkwardly and looking for help. He was in bad shape, had been about 6 weeks old and probably someone had thrown him out of the house. Initially he was supposed to stay with us until he was cured, but the side effect was that we fell in love with him and he lives with us for 8 years now.

He is named Gacek (bat) because when Peter brought him home he was starved, making his round yellow eyes and protruding ears look bigger.

He has vampire teeth and a perpetually surprised face, making it hard to take him seriously when he is offended. And he gets offended often, such as over an empty bowl or being stroked in the wrong place.
